Bike Jersey for the Ride!!

With the help of Andrew Block from Beaker Concepts Inc and Peter Godefroy of Dragon Design Group our jersey will be made! Jersey pics in about a week. I am off to play cowboy in Montana at the TX Ranch so someone else will post the pics. Right Pierre!

Most of us rode with the California Coastal Classic (CCC)  folks today and went 55 miles. As we get closer (3 months away we are pretty much down to several things in planning. What to take list finalized, where, specifically, do we want to ride, and how much money to take.
The jersey design is in the Creative Directors hands and we are awaiting the first draft of the design.

We went on our weekly ride and did the Kelly Loop Counter Clockwise. Great weather and our friend Jim road with us. Here is an image from last year that reflects our city at sunset.

June 19 Meeting

Dinner meeting on 19 June at my house. I hope we are able to get the jersey launched, figure out the credit card thingy and start looking at options for riding. Helmut is bringing wine, Pierre is bringing salad and Blackberries (grown in his back yard), and Ed is bringing a side dish, baguette, and beer.

I hope the blog pages get updated and we all start to make entries.
Addendum post dinner. Good evening with great guys. We did finish the jersey issue and Pierre is sending  it on to his son. We talked about clothes and what to take. The is s separate entry coming about our list.  The specific schedule is going to be checked by Ed and edited for hotels, trains, and ideas.
We will be getting a credit card with a chip.
The next meeting will be July 31st at Helmut's place.

7 May Meeting Notes

As best as I can tell we all met at Pauls house and had wine and a great spaghetti dinner. I definitely remember the wine.
We have decide that we need a single card to pay for the trip but we have to get one with a EU chip. Helmet has the best solution, reasonable people will come up with a reasonable solution. Helmet is a great guy, common sense rules!
Pierre and I will complete the next phase of the jersey and have some sort of prototype available for the next meeting on the 18th of June at Steve's house. BBQ and vegan food for sure.

Cinco les Velo

On Saturday the 5th of May we all went with Paul and did an interesting ride around Poway. According to Paul it only had 3 hills. Paul is our "hill" guy. Some people like chocolate some people like hills. When we get to France it will be "most of us like wine".
I am trying to find a way to list all the places we like on a separate page.
