Tuesday with Erica

We are at our Tuesday morning breakfast stop , THE Encinitas Cafe. Pierre, Bill, Ed, and I have been coming here so often that the folks know what we eat. Erica, Eric, Javier, Jorge, Debbie, Bubbles (Cathleen), and sometimes Megan. We love this place. Please stop by and enjoy.

Pannikin

Well. So today we, Bill, Paul, Pierre, and I (Steve) rode our regular Wednesday YMCA ride. We stopped at Pannikin for a refresher (Hot Chocolate for me), coffee or iced tea for all the other geezers.
Gosh I will have to come back and tell you more. It was an exciting repast.

Tuesday 17 April Places I like!

There will be a section soon about businesses, places, and stuff we like and want to advertise. An example is the Pink Peloton (WWW.pinkpeloton.com) Rachel is great and the store is super. Chick stuff but go talk to her and get your wife or mate a gift. Bike Revolution Shop (WWW.RevolutionBikeShop.com) it is a ne outfit that supports our gear and it is where I have ALL my work done. Here is one more for now, Book Tales in Encinitas ((WWW.encinitasbooktales.com). I found a couple of great books on France, not tourist stuff but stories that take place in France - Murder in the Bastille by Cara Black is one I am starting.

Today Helmet and I road out to Lake Hodges via the Solana Beach Train station. Bill was supposed to come with but there was a glitch I will let him explain. Cute and humorous but it should come from him. Something we all have done.
Lots of news from Ed, he is really enjoying himself and I appreciate all his work to try and get us ready for our trip.
Paul doesn't know we changes the date of our next meet up and since he is hosting we should really tell him.
HELP*** I want to add a couple of columns for this blog blog and am having a tough time being patient enough to read the direction. I am more of a do it guy rather than a read it and then do it. Frustrating for me sometimes.

Today is 22 March. I haven't posted in over a week. I am learning how to set up the site for best use and I hope that all the "Geezers" will be on line and contribute shortly.

We are deep into planning and have a pretty good idea of what we are going to do. 5 of us will arrive in Paris on 21 September 2012 and get our butts over to Bayeux for our stay there until the 26th of September. Lots of riding up and down the Normandy coast. We will be going to all the local sites but the idea is to ride and drink lots of good French wine!
